CommissionCourse28/2024SelectionBoardare to report at Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Oyo State
on 11 March 2024.
2. Candidatesare toreporttotheSelectionBoardvenueon11March2024between8am–11 am withthe following items:
a. Writing materials including ruler and eraser.
b. Three (3) pairs of plain white short sleeve vests.
c. Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts.
d. Canvas shoes/trainers and whitesocks.
e. Toiletries.
f. A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups.
g. Beddings;to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.
h. Four (4) copies offull size coloured photographs at standing positionin suit.
3. TheSelectionExercisewillinvolvephysical,medicalandacademic tests as well asanoralinterview for all candidates.
4. Candidateswill be requiredto produce original and duplicate copies ofthe following:
a. All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as
applicable in a file jacket.
b. Certificateofordinationfor candidates seekingChaplain(Protestant/RomanCatholic).
c. Certificate ofCalltoBar for candidates seekingDirectorate of Legal Services.
d. Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital and Local Government
Council of birth or valid age declaration.
e. Valid certificate of state of origin.
f. Military Identity Card (military personnel only).
g. LetterofrecommendationbyCommandingOfficers/Commanders(militarypersonnelonly).
h. Letter of sponsorshipin tertiary academic institution(military personnel only).
i. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank as well NIN enrolment slip.
j. Completedcopies of print outs from the DSSC portal including referee forms.
5. Candidatesaretonotethatanyalterationontheirdocumentswillrendersuchdocumentsinvalid.
6. Candidateswillbe fedandaccommodatedthroughoutthedurationoftheSelectionBoard.
7. Candidateswillbe responsible for their transportationto andfromtheSelectionBoard.
8. The use of personal/private vehiclesby candidates is strictlyprohibitedthroughoutthe durationofthe Selection
Board.
9. Visitors will not be allowed throughoutthe duration ofthe SelectionBoard.
10. Shortlisted DSSC 28/2024 candidates are to report at the Headquarters 2 Division NigerianArmy, Ibadan, Oyo
State on 11 March 2024 from 8 am – 11 am. Candidates who arrive after 11 am on 11 March 2024 will be
disqualified.
11. A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate any instruction during the Selection
Board will be disqualified.

A)Basic Requirements: are as follows
1)Applicants must be single,
2)born in Nigeria, in possession of a National Identity
3)Card/NIN or BVN. Applicants must be physically, mentally, and medically fit according to Nigerian Army Standards. Applicants must not have been convicted of a crime by a court of law.
Enlisted Soldiers
Here are the requirements to become an enlisted Soldier: Age: Between 17-35 years old. Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically fit, and in good moral standing. Citizenship: nigerian. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
