Eligibility for Nigerian Navy basic training
1. Applicant must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth.
2. Applicants for entry categories A5, B1, B2, B3, C1, D1, D7, E2, E3, E4 and F1 require School Certificate and must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years by 30 April 2024.
Documents needed for Nigerian Navy basic training application
- Must be a Nigerian National with a means of identification to prove this
- Must be between 18 to 22 for those with school certificates while the age range for those with higher certificates must be between 18 to 26.
- Must be single without a child
- Those with physical or medical challenges are exempted from applying
- Male applicants must be at least 1.69m tall while female applicants are expected to be at least 1.65m tall.
- Must possess any of the following:
- West African Senior School Certificate Examination Certificate (not more than 2 sittings).
- General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level.
- National Examination Council (NECO).
- National Business and Technical Examinations (NABTEB).
- WAEC City and Guilds or London City and Guild.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
- First School Leaving Certificate(FSLC)
- A Bank Verification Number(BVN) and NIN
- Birth Certificate and Duly Completed Parent/Guardian consent form
