How to Check JAMB Result 2024

Candidates who participated in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination can check their 2024 UTME results through this two primary methods below:

1) Check JAMB Result Online with your Registration Number on JAMB e-facility portal

1. Login to JAMB result checker portal https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults
2. Type your JAMB registration number or Mobile Number in the space provided.
3. Finally, click on the “Check My Result”

The result will display your scores in the various subjects and provide valuable information for the admission process.

2) Check JAMB Result via Mobile Phone through SMS

Using your Mobile Phone through SMS is the only process of checking JAMB results for 2024 now as the Board has not uploaded it on its website for obvious reasons.

• Simply use the same number that was used for registration.
• Send UTMERESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019.

You will receive your JAMB result as an SMS on your phone immediately or between 10-30 minutes. The message will include your scores in each subject.

Important Notice:

If you have sent the message containing your JAMB registration number to both 55019 or 66019 and have not received your result, there are a few possible reasons for this issue. Below are some steps you can take:

1) Ensure that you have a stable network connection on your mobile phone before attempting to send the SMS. Poor network connectivity may result in the message not being delivered.

2) Make sure that you are using the correct format when sending the SMS. The message should start with “RESULT” followed by a space and then your JAMB registration number. For example: RESULT 12345678.

3) Double-check that the JAMB registration number you entered is accurate and matches the one you used during the examination.

4) It’s possible that there might be a delay in the processing of results. Wait for some time and try sending the SMS again.

5) SMS charges may apply, so ensure you have sufficient credit on your phone.

What Next After Checking your JAMB Result?

After checking your JAMB result, it is advisable to print your JAMB result slip. The JAMB result slip contains important information such as your personal details, photograph, and most importantly, your scores in each subject for the UTME. This document serves as an official confirmation of your performance in the examination.

When applying for admission into a university, polytechnic, or other tertiary institutions, you will be required to provide a copy of your JAMB result slip as part of the admission process. Institutions use this document to verify the authenticity of your results and to ensure that you meet their admission requirements.
